Strategy Research
Our research team thoroughly analyzed the competition landscape and collected insights from over 150 user surveys to refine our project's direction. One-on-one interviews with users played a pivotal role in understanding their unique journeys and addressing specific pain points, shaping a solution tailored to their needs.
Personas
We developed a comprehensive set of personas representing all key stakeholders in the problem space, including students at different stages of their journey, parents, and career counselors. These personas served as tools to guide our decisions, map the problem space, and highlight the collaborative nature of career planning.

ECOSYSTEM MAPPING
Since the path to finding a career is rarely a straightforward A-to-B process, we designed a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing career advisors, personality tests, course registration, classes, and ongoing support. Odyssey isn’t just a product—it’s a holistic experience.
STORYBOARDS
The app's "Visits" section provides a daily overview of appointments, both in-person and remote. Users can drill down to view specific details, including event contacts, directions, and Zoom links.

We mapped the relationships, interactions, and milestones of multiple personas, uncovering design opportunities and challenging our initial assumptions.
Wireframes
We adopted a desktop-first approach to our design, driven by the system's complexity and richness, along with insights from our competitive analysis of other educational applications.

Class Schedule
The device management page allows the ability to assign phones to different networks and users. On the right side; the property panel allows the manager to view more in depth details on the phones to reduce noise on the main page.
After completing a self-assessment, students receive the Odyssey Home Kit: a personalized package filled with workshops, tools, and resources designed to align with their career interests and spark meaningful exploration.
