Audubon Illustration Project

This project started with ambitions to create a group show where the proceeds would go to benefit the audubon society of Portland. Then covid hit and so did the opportunity to have a public art show. The bird project carried on throughout 2020, perhaps out of a subconcious envy of the freedoms birds have when compared to the human experience. It’s also been an exciting way to learn more about the species, their scientific name, and becoming more intimate with their form and behavior.
